Why Trees Need to Be Pruned
There are many reasons as to why your tree may need to be pruned. At the end of the day though, it always comes down to it’s health, safety, and aesthetics.
Health: By trimming away specific branches, we’re able to provide many benefits to the tree itself. For instance, by trimming branches in the canopy, your tree will receive better air flow and light penetration. This is important because it reduces wind stress on the tree and allows more sunlight to through the canopy which will hit the lawn below. We like to cut away dead, dying, diseased, broken or rubbing branches to increase a tree’s health.
Aesthetics: Many of our customers don’t realize just how valuable they’re trees are. Trees add tremendously to the value of real estate. But this is only if they are properly shaped, healthy, and hazard free. We will trim your tree in order to give it the natural intended form it was supposed to have.
Safety: This is overall, our biggest concern when it comes to the pruning of your trees. By removing rubbing, diseased, or dead branches, we are able to reduce the chances that it will fall due to the forces of nature. Many large branches become loose, weakened, damaged or fall during periods of heavy rain, wind or snow.
