If a tree is hollow, it’s lifespan is coming to an end since a hollow tree becomes a danger as time goes on. If there is trunk damage, depending on the severity of the damage, it may also be time to remove the tree. Dead branches are a telltale sign a tree should be removed. A tree with more than half of it’s branches damaged should be removed. The danger of falling branches is a risk especially if it’s your home where family members may be injured at any given time. Sprouts can occur form sun exposure after soil compaction.
