It’s important that you learn the facts about tree topping. This dangerous and negative practice will all but guarantee that you kill your tree(s). The biggest problem caused by tree topping is starvation. You may have heard of it, it’s also possible that a tree care company brought up the idea to you and you may have been considering it. Tree topping is defined as the practice of removing whole tops of trees leaving lateral branches or subs that are too small to assume the role as the terminal leader.
