The most common trees in America are the red maple, loblolly pine, douglas fir, and quaking aspen trees. The red maple tree produces red leaves, shrubs, and flowers through fall and winter. Perhaps what makes this tree so common is its inevitable ability to exist in nearly any climate condition. Red maple is considered a valuable tree for the amount of shade it produces and the integrity it gives to homeowners.
The loblolly pine is present in thirty million acres of the southeast. What’s interesting is this pine tree cannot survive the intense winters in America. The Douglas fir tree is extremely tall and grows anywhere from 30 to 70 feet with cones that can reach 30 feet in length. The tallest versions of this tree that exist in the western united states are known to reach up to 220 feet.
The quaking aspen tree is found throughout America with Colorado and Utah being the most densely populated region for aspen trees. These hardwoods are considered dependent for the environment of coexist properly. Without these trees it is believed wildlife ecosystems could collapse.
