How to choose the right tree service company
Choosing the right tree service company can be a daunting task if you have no prior experience. Depending on the work you need done, it’s important that the company you do in fact hire has all of the proper credentials. Working with trees at any point can be a dangerous activity so who you hire needs to be as experienced as possible.
Insurance: This is a big deal! You need to make sure that the company you hire as the proper liability insurance as well as worker’s compensation. If someone gets injured or property is damaged, you are fully liable.
Better Business Bureau: Only a handful of companies that truly value they’re reputation and care about consumers are members of the BBB.
Local Reputation: Have you checked out the tree care company’s online reviews? What about asking around town about them? A local business’s reputation is everything.
Too Cheap: When something seems too good to be true, it usually is. Don’t get fooled by an arborist looking to cut corners with magically low pricing. Somewhere within that estimate, the company will be cutting corners. This is not something you want to do as it could be hazardous for you.
Too Expensive: If a price is sky high, don’t go for it. The best thing to do is get estimates from multiple arborists or tree care companies. Do not get ripped off!
