Spotting Hazards Within Trees
If left without maintenance, trees can cause enormous problems for home or land owners. There are all types of unique problems that should be checked out or inspected on a seasonal basis. It’s important that these factors are taken into account and treated immediately so there is no danger of a large tree branch falling or collapse.
Exposed Roots
The problem is not that your tree’s roots are rising, it’s actually an erosion issue. The soil around the base of the tree is disappearing over time.
Tree Trunk Cracks/Splits
Extreme weather or poor environmental conditions can create cracks in the trunks of trees. The good news is that this is not a death sentence for your tree, it can be treated in a number of ways.
Rubbing/Dead Branches
This is a big part of a hazardous tree inspection. Usually our staff will recommend some on-site tree pruning in order to clear away any dead, diseased or rubbing branches. These can pose a huge threat, especially if loose during a windy day.
Multi-Stemmed Tree Trunks
In unique situations, a tree will grow a second trunk. The problem is actually when or if the two trunks split apart. This can be alleviated by a strong cable we use to hold the structure together.
