Insurance: This is a big deal. If they have no insurance and are injured on your property, then you’ve got to understand that you are fully liable. You should always ask for a copy to be faxed or e-mailed directly from the company’s insurance provider just for legitimacy reasons.
Reputation: Do you know anything about the tree care provider’s reputation locally? There are all kinds of ways to find out these days. You can ask friends, neighbors, business associates. However a popular option is to just look online. You can find many indicators of a business’s performance by reading they’re reviews on sites like yelp, google local, or yp.
Pricing: You’ve heard that age old saying, “You get what you pay for.” In this case, nothing could be more truthful. You have to be very careful and not just choose the tree care company that provides you with the lowest priced estimate. Many of these companies cut corners that could result in a liability on your end.
